Better Living has received funding from Ontario Health to expand the offerings at our Seniors Active Living Centre at 5 Deauville Lane to include Adult Day Programs beginning summer 2026.

This expansion is an important step forward in increasing access to community-based supports for individuals and Families across Flemingdon Park, Thorncliffe Park, and surrounding neighbourhoods. The new Adult Day Program will support seniors who may be experiencing social isolation, living with dementia, or facing physical disabilities, while also providing support and relief for Caregivers through structured programming and services.

The program will offer accessible, culturally responsive supports designed to help Clients stay active, build meaningful social connections, and continue living safely at home.

We are excited to continue expanding services that respond to the evolving needs of our community and are grateful to Ontario Health for their support in making this expansion possible. This investment will help strengthen the range of supports available to older adults and Families in our community while helping more individuals remain connected and supported close to home.

More information about the program, including registration details and launch timelines, will be shared in the coming months.
