Our Better Living Golf Classic is on its way!  This annual event supports Thompson House and Better Living Health & Community Services, this like our other efforts is a key element in our annual fundraising. Since our world has changed with the emergence of COVID-19 we have decided to reinvent this highly anticipated annual event.

At Better Living we improve quality of life and are committed to providing a continuum of services which can be individualized to meet the diverse and changing needs of those in our community in a way that is meaningful to each person.  The funds we raise each year support programs at Thompson House (our 136 bed long-term care home), transportation needs, Meals on Wheels, Adult Day Programs, Care for Caregivers, and Social & Personal Support Work programs and services.

With the onset of COVID-19 and the need for social distancing practices, our team responded quickly to launch virtual programming that includes Fitness & Falls Prevention, Language Programs, and Technology Tutorials to help our community members stay connected with their friends and family. We are proud of our response and with your support this can continue in the months ahead.

How It Works

By registering for the Better Living Golf Classic you are helping us toward the $350,000 we need to raise this year to continue to provide our exceptional service. This year instead of holding the event on a defined day, golfers will have the opportunity to purchase a voucher to play on a day of their choosing at Meadowbrook Golf Club (11939 Warden Ave, Gormley, ON L0H 1G0). You register with us for the event and receive a golf voucher which includes 18 holes of golf (with cart) as well as a food & beverage voucher. You then choose the date and time that you and your group want to play and book it directly with the course (Tee times available Monday all day, Tuesday to Sunday after 2pm).  We urge you to take this chance to #GolfYourWayBetterLiving in support of our community.
